My folks and I saw a lot of beautiful plants this trip, and
a pretty good showing of blossoms, but not the masses of brightly colored
annuals. We learned at the Anza-Borrego State Park Visitor's Center that the
wildflowers were about a month early this year.
Still, we managed to see some beautiful flowers and
flowering trees. Seeing the Ironwood in full bloom with its pink haze
of flowers and buzzing bee attendants, was the best for me. Compare this year’s
photos with previous albums for 2013 and 2014.
